After a stingy man eats some cherry seeds, a cherry tree grows on his head and he gets into a lot of trouble. Mt. Head is a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese Rakugo story "Atama-yama" set in contemporary Tokyo.
Among its many honors, the film was nominated for the Oscar for the 75th Academy Awards® and awarded Grand Prix for Annecy 2003. |
